Hello, friend!

I’m Kate — wife to my incredibly patient husband, Jason, mama to six, homeschool teacher, maker, and the heart behind The Adopt Shoppe.

Our story has been shaped by both deep loss and deep grace. After losing two baby boys and later welcoming a daughter and son, we thought our family was complete. But God continued to gently nudge our hearts toward adoption. We simply followed where He led. Today, our family includes two glory babies in heaven, two biological children, and two adopted children who have changed our lives forever.

The Adopt Shoppe was born out of both necessity and purpose.

At the time, Jason was serving as a pastor and I was home raising and homeschooling our children. We didn’t have the resources for adoption — truly, not even close. So I began creating. What started as a way to help bring our children home slowly grew into something much deeper.

I wanted to create meaningful things that felt authentic, beautiful, and encouraging — small reminders of truth for everyday life.

I’ve always loved these verses from Proverbs:

“Bind them always on your heart; fasten them around your neck.
When you walk, they will guide you;
when you sleep, they will watch over you;
when you awake, they will speak to you.”
— Proverbs 6:21–22

That became the heartbeat behind everything I make:
little reminders that quietly speak truth into everyday life.
